The main ugly betty actress is America Ferrera. She undergoes a transformations from a pretty confident brunette to a geeky timid brunette with braces. What’s great about America is that she is the main ugly betty actress but she is the best ugly betty actress. She makes her character alive and real. Her character is so unlike her and yet the audience would not be able to tell.

Another ugly betty actress is Vanessa L. Williams who plays the cunning Wilhelmina Slater. The character has won best TV Villain at the 2007 Teen Choice Awards. This I believe is well deserved Wilhelmina Slater can be described as verging on evil or at least really, really mean.

Thirdly ugly betty actress is Becki Newton who plays Amanda Tanen the attractive receptionist who idolises money and fashion.

The fourth ugly betty actress is Ana Ortiz who plays Hilda Suarez, Betty’s sister. This role enabled her to win the ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2007. Hilda is the sassy sometimes vain hairdresser who is very protective of her family.
